Ms. Donald has painted an excellent story of a lonely vampire woman and her desire just to live and be loved. Creative characters with depth and history, mixed with a romance between Danny and Samantha, make this a fantastic tale. Add the deep emotions of dark sadness and unconditional love and you have a story you do not want to put down.

When she does try to better herself, citizens do their best to hold her down. You will find yourself rooting for Samantha and Danny, hoping they can keep their love strong in a world that does not want them together. This is an exceptionally great story.
