A
More Perfect Union
book two of the nocturnal urges series

Some things never die.
Vampires, for one. Samantha Crews has lived a long time in the shadows
of Memphis, working at the Nocturnal Urges club and hiding from the
vampires that darken her past.
Det. Anne Freitas is stuck with a new partner, a young woman with a
chip on her shoulder the size of Memphis itself. Now she’s assigned to
investigate a series of threats against congressional candidate Robert
Carton, for whom Samantha volunteers.
But Samantha has just fallen in love with Danny Carton, the candidate’s
son. An idealist, who wants to make life better for humans and vampires
alike. Danny offers love, understanding and passion - everything
Samantha ever wanted.
But there’s a lot Danny doesn’t know about Samantha. He doesn’t know
she’s a vampire. He doesn’t know she works at Nocturnal Urges. He
doesn’t know his own father is one of her clients.
And he doesn’t know what’s hunting her. In the shadows.

Elizabeth
Donald's second installment in the "Nocturnal Urges" series is a
fast-paced murder mystery sure to appeal to both lovers of thrillers
and lovers of vampires. Well-written and creative, Ms. Donald spins the
tale of Samantha Crews and Danny Carton with care and real-life
emotions... Populated with wonderful secondary characters, Ms. Donald
has the perfect grasp of what a series really means. Funny, scary,
passionate and quirky, "A More Perfect Union" is worth the price of
admission into Elizabeth's wonderful world. I look forward to the next
episode!

Ms. Donald has painted an excellent
story of a lonely vampire woman and her desire just to live and be
loved. Creative characters with depth and history, mixed with a romance
between Danny and Samantha, make this a fantastic tale. Add the deep
emotions of dark sadness and unconditional love and you have a story
you do not want to put down.
-- CoffeeTimeRomance
Elizabeth Donald once again takes readers on a remarkable ride through
the shadowy world of vampires, while exploring some of the darker sides
of humanity... This is a beautifully-written book with enormous amount
of depth and detail that really bring Ms. Donald's vampires to life.
-- Just Erotic Romance Reviews
Elizabeth Donald has taken a new twist on vampire stories. As the
reader, we are taken into the dark world of Samantha Crews. All she
wants is to be loved for herself and live life openly like everyone
else. We feel her sorrow of being cast aside as not "worthy" enough to
be a part of society. When she does try to better herself, citizens do
their best to hold her down. You will find yourself rooting for
Samantha and Danny, hoping they can keep their love strong in a world
that does not want them together. This is an exceptionally great story.
